Stephen Pakula
Born and raised in the Bronx, Stephen Pakula spent many years as a producer of Japanese anime DVDs and as an editor for Japanese and Korean graphic novels. Currently he is an editor for a major children's book publisher, and is very happy that he gets to work with American books on a daily basis. Stephen is also a major comic book geek, and has written for many industry publications, the most recent of which is Danny Fingeroth's Write Now! #13. Go to your local comic shop and buy a copy or three.
Stephen also studied filmmaking at the New York Film Academy where he met fellow film enthusiasts Chris Cayden and Dan Chen. In early 2005, along with some other classmates, Stephen, Chris and Dan co-founded Section B Films, LLC. Some call it chance. Others call it fate. Whatever it may be, one thing is for certain -- they will work diligently to use all of their learned filmmaking knowledge and acquired experience for one goal and one goal only: to pick up chicks.
