 This was the first film I made on my own outside of film school. This was a fun shoot. The idea came to me when I was asleep, I kept thinking of when I first moved to New York City and how in awe I was just walking around Times Square. Working with my friends from NYFA and fellow Section B Films, LLC members Stephan Pakula and Dan Chen was great, always enjoy the chance to work with good people.
This was shot on a Panasonic HVX200 HD. I liked the idea of filming in HD, the quality was sharp, the film has some shadowing issue, but I think the setting in the hotel room is a bit forgiving.
John (jeff essex) comes to New York City looking for an experience to tell all his friends about and gets more than he bargained for.
